General Information
California Achievement Test (CAT), Fifth Edition, published in 1992 by CTB/McGraw-Hill.
The CAT for Grades 4 through 12 requires very little parental involvement beyond general directions and time-keeping. Grades 4 through 12 have identical directions and timings (except the 4th grade timing on one section) so several children at different grade levels may take the test together. Grades K through 3 have sections that are read to the child by the parent, using the supplied examiner's manual. All grades are in nonconsumable format which requires the student to mark answers on a separate answer sheet.

Order the California Achievement Test (CAT) — $37 Each
FLO's testing and assessment services are available only to homeschooling parents. Furthermore, all tests and testing materials remain the property of Family Learning Organization and must be returned to FLO for processing within 2 weeks of receipt. By ordering tests or assessments from FLO you certify that you are a homeschooling parent and that you agree to return all testing materials to FLO within two weeks of receipt. You also understand that failure to return materials will result in a fee of $50 per book which will be charged to the credit card given. Arrangements for an extension may be made by phoning FLO’s office.
